Boulware Springs Charter School Parent's Day Off - July 23

We will be gathering at Boulware Springs Charter School  (1303 Northeast 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609) to give parents from the school a few hours to catch up or rest. We will have a fun filled day taking care of their children by doing activities such as basketball, reading, coloring, soccer, playing with toys, and lunch. We will also have an area designated for children under the age of 3. We can’t make this a wonderful day without you! Please come out and have a great time while loving on these children and families. Volunteers should arrive by about 10:45am and expect to stay until about 3pm (or as long as they can).

Please read the description of the all volunteer roles and then select a role on The City.
Roles to be filled:

volunteer to run a check in table for when kids arrive (10:45-11:15)
volunteer to run a check out table for when kids leave (2:45-3:15)
volunteer to help prep and pass out lunch (11:30-12:15)
volunteer to lead a group of (about 5) children around to each activity.
volunteer to set up/run an activity station (one per station that stays there and helps manage the activity while groups rotate through with their leader)
media person to set up and run a movie and songs
volunteer for watching baby/toddlers
volunteer willing to pray with women that might ask for it when they come to pick up their child.
volunteer willing to make 12 special wrapped desserts with an encouraging note tied to it.
volunteer willing to pick up lunch items from SAMS and deliver it to the school.
