Questioning Christianity
Every Wednesday until April 20, 2022
6:30pm – 8:00pm
Join us as we consider some of the most common questions and topics related to Christianity. This is a seven-part series providing an open space to explore how the Christian faith addresses life's biggest topics while comparing it to the approach of other worldviews and philosophies. Each weekly session will include a meal, a video presentation (from Tim Keller- former pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC), followed by a time to continue the dialogue. This is an opportunity for seekers or skeptics who are open to learning more about the claims of the gospel, and Christians who want to be more confident and grow in what they believe (as well as being more equipped on how to articulate those beliefs). We encourage church members to consider inviting a friend who may not identify with the Christian faith and are open to exploring the toughest questions about it.
The subject matter of each session builds on each other and is concerned with the larger question, "Does Christianity make sense emotionally, culturally and intellectually?" This will be asked in relation to these topics:
- Faith and Proof
- Meaning
- Satisfaction
- Identity
- Morality
- Justice
- Hope
