2023-2024 City Church Internships
City Chuch is once again offering internship opportunities for those who are interested in getting a taste of local church vocational ministry.
These internships are exploratory opportunities that involve shadowing, studying, skill development and leading. Our prayerful desire for interns is that they would grow in their understanding of the nature of local church ministry, assess their fitness for local church ministry in the future, and sacrificially invest in the wellbeing of our church family.
Preliminary Details (subject to negotiation and change based on individual circumstances and the needs of the church):
Reports To: Lead Pastor
Work Hours: 5-10 hours per week (mostly flexible schedule)
Duration: Mid-August '23 through Mid-May '24
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hanging out with the City Church staff :)
- Possibly a small financial stipend - will discuss more with potential applicants (not guaranteed since this is mainly an exploratory/shadowing opportunity)
- Interns are welcome to raise money (which City Church can set up a fund for), and the church can potentially see about finding creative housing opportunities that might save interns money
- Access to office space
