Two Important April Service Events
City Church – due to unusual circumstances – we actually have two important community engagement events coming up on April 11 and April 18. Both involvement “cleanup” and small projects.
1. The first event is on April 11 from 9am-noon (eating lunch downtown after the event) and involves cleaning up what was once “Tent City” along the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail. Please see the City Post for more info and to signup – closed toed shoes and long pants are required. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve the downtown area and meet other organizations who will be assisting. This event is being hosted by Keep Alachua County Beautiful.
2. The second event is on April 18 from 10am-noon – we’ll be cleaning and doing special projects at Boulware Charter School and eating lunch at Satchel’s after that. This is a wonderful way to serve our community as well! Check out the City Post for more information.
Also – Dorian Rose will need a bit of help on April 11 to man a booth near the Santa Fe Arts Festival. Check out the The City Post about helping with this important need.
Let’s go spread the love of Jesus in downtown Gainesville!
